Educator and landscape designer, Ann brings an array of experience and knowledge to her design projects. Her first involvement in landscape design began in 1981 in Florida. After completing a Masters’ degree in Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning in 2003, Ann went on to teach courses in Landscape Architecture at colleges and universities in both Utah and Arizona. She is a published and cited author and has professional experience working for both a non-profit agency and a private landscape architecture firm. Her passion is residential landscape design and she enjoys working with clients to develop usable and creative outdoor spaces.
Partnering with contractors, pool companies, artists, and private individuals, Ann creates innovative landscape designs that fit the clients’ wants and wishes as well as meets their budgetary needs.
A strong believer in environmentally responsive designs, Ann typically uses local materials for hardscape features and incorporates recycled materials into projects when possible. She provides colorful and practical low water designs utilizing native, near-native, and drought tolerant plant palettes along with water harvesting features.
